January - February 2017 IYBS is assisting with a "Love Sock" initiative.
February is the month to show love to someone special. The organization along with One Love South Jersey, CB Kids, Endless Agape, and Friends of Fairview will be showing love to the homeless by collecting men and women tube socks and travel size toiletries (tissues, deodorant, soap, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, tooth brushes, mouth wash, dental floss, hats, and gloves). We will be collecting these items until February 4, 2017 and will be giving out the love socks stuffed with the items on February 12, 2017 to men and woman at various homeless shelters.
IYBS Annual "Thinking of You Fruit Baskets" December 22 - 24 2016.
It's Your BEST Shot will be putting together fruit baskets and bags of fruit on Thursday December 22, 2016 at Glassboro SDS Church 127 Earl Avenue Glassboro NJ at 5:30 pm. All our welcome to come out and help. The baskets and bags of fruit will be distributed out on Friday December 23 and Saturday December 24.
IYBS Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive
IYBS will be giving out Thanksgiving food baskets November 19 - 21, 2016. This food drive will feed more than 800 people. If you would like to donate or volunteer your time call 856-449-6987 and leave a message.
"Senior Cool Down" 2016 Initiative
IYBS will be assisting senior citizens and the disabled during the summer months, by supplying them with a window unit air conditioner to help them stay cool. Call or email if your in need of a air conditioner or if you would like to donate to the initiative.
Dinner for senior citizens at Bonsall Elementary School, Camden NJ
It's Your BEST Shot will be serving dinner for senior citizens in the Camden County area. The dinner will be at Bonsall Elementary School at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22. If your a senior citizen and live in that area and would like to attend call and reserve a seat. (856-449-6987)
"Thinking of You Fruit Baskets"
On December 26 at Glassboro SDA Church, the organization will be putting together 150 fruit baskets to distribute to senior citizens, on Sunday December 27 and Monday December 28. If you would like to volunteer to help on this project or have a name of someone who would like a basket email or call the foundation.
Thanksgiving Food Drive November 2015

IYBS has Boscov's discount shopping passes for sale. For a $5 donation you get a all day shopping pass for up to 25% off your entire order, all day any Boscov's Department store.
"Senior Cool Down" and Back To School Drive
During the months of July and August IYBS will be supplying senior citizens and the handicap with window unit air conditioners. We will also be raising money for our Back to School Drive, during our back to school drive IYBS supplies children with new uniforms, book bags and school supplies.
"Senior Cool Down" Bowling Party Fundraiser
On Sunday April 26, 2015 It's Your BEST Shot will be having a fund raiser bowling party. The bowling party will be at the Brunswick Zone bowling alley in Turnersville, NJ. Tickets are $16pp for 2 hours of bowling, pizza, soda among other snacks.(50/50, Give A Ways, Bake Sale) Time: 3pm till 5pm. Children ages 5 to 12 years old of a single parent or families who need financial assistance can bowl for free.
In November It's Your BEST Shot will be having its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. The organization will provide more than 100 families with groceries, so they can have a tasty meal for Thanksgiving. Join in, and help with a monetary donation to make this a special Thanksgiving Holiday for families in need.
Boscov's Friends Helping Friends
During October, Boscov's Department store is helping non-profit organizations with their annual Friends Helping Friends fundraiser. Boscov's has given various organizations 25% shopping passes to sell for a $5 donation, which can be used on Tuesday, October 21st at any Boscov's. There will be refreshments, entertainment and a raffle drawing. It's Your BEST Shot keeps all the proceeds from the shopping passes we sell.
Back To School Drive
In August and September the organization provided children throughout Camden, NJ, Trenton, NJ and Philadelphia, PA with Forman Mills Clothing Store gift cards to help purchase school uniforms.
"Senior Cool Down" Benefit Concert
On Sunday June 8, 2014, It's Your BEST Shot hosted a Gospel Benefit Concert. All the proceeds raised were used to purchase window air conditioning units to help senior citizens stay cool this summer. The concert raised $1800 from freewill donations.
